In Germany

Sunday night we came to our friends in southern Germany. They had made dinner for us all. We stayed there two nights, and had a great time with fellowship and fun. We also experienced the worst rain I have ever experienced, wich started at the very hour the bus was waiting to go to workshop for some treatment (...), and we were standing, hanging, sitting, laying down outside in the grass... Unforgettable! :-)

Bustrip of the Year...

50 young people, age between 11 and 47... in a bus on our way to Germany and Switzerland. We have worked hard this last year, to earn money to be able to make the trip. Now it's reality - Yohooo!! :-)

picture 3: The bus has no aircondition, and there was heat outside and inside the bus, I guess around 35 degrees celcius...Susanne and Alexander try to cool down a little... Others use batterydriven fans and waterspray. Waterspray is actually quite effective :-)

Conference at Gvarv

Together with friends from different parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, Turkey and Denmark, we enjoyed fellowship at Sagavold in Gvarv the last week in July.

Picture 1: Children's meeting. Minda tells about faith, that faith is recieving what God gives to us, and also acting according to it. These kids have painted something from the Bible as an example of what to recieve and act on.

Picture 2: Anne Maria is visiting us, and eats turkish food with Kyria, Hanne, Maria, Priskilla, Yohan, Sven Erik and me. (Priskilla and Maria are great cookers, mmmm...) Afterwords we had a good time singing with the kids and youth. Anne Maria blessed us with her violin, and Atle with his guitar. (You can read more about this at Anne Maria's blog)

English blog??

From now on I will try to write my notes in English, because of my English-speaking friends... I believe my Norwegian friends will understand English as well, so I hope I don't hurt anyone... if so, please tell me... ;-)
